One Month

I am delighted and impressed by the support we’ve received for Critical Hits in our first month of broadcast. It has been a humbling experience for us, to listen and learn how to tailor our pacing and style for radio play, to entertain more than just ourselves.

Playing pretend feels less and less approachable the older we get, and that is bananas. We don’t stop needing skills that pretending reinforces, like empathy or deftness. And boy it sure is nice to practice honing the way we respond to failures (and successes). Most importantly, it’s fun to tell stories together. So fun. Playing is so fun.

Our ambition is that in listening to us play, you can feel empowered to try some of these games yourself. Or make up your own game! (for those equally ambitious) The barrier in most cases is just the decision to play.
